I kind of like the charr in the forest quest where the charr were raved by the river skinks after I was killed. I just heard the attack going on while I was trying to stupidly take on 4 charr at once. Nothing like death to keep you from getting too cocky. Anyways the lady saved one for me. One that was nicely wore down by skinks so one hit put the charr away.

It is better to die in the pre-sear land as you don't loose anything from it. I hear they start taking XP away for what you did in a mission if you die in post-sear. I look forward to killing some charr here in the next few days of playing.

I left at lvl 8 after finishing all the questsand doing the 4 monk armor collections. Whats the rush, i only plan on doing the pre-searing once anyhow

No, you don't lose anything when you die in Post Searing. If you keep all weapons, skills, items, loot, xp, energy. You keep everything permanently.

WQhen you die in Post Searing you are given a Death Penalty. The first time you die the Death Penalty temporarily subtracts 11% of your max energy and health. Max Death Penalty is 60%. You can work it off by kill more creeps.

If you go back to town after losing everything is reset. You never lose anything permenatly.
